- 1.5 pounds boneless skinless chicken breast, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil divided
- 1 large yellow onion thinly sliced
- 1 green bell pepper thinly sliced
- 1 red bell pepper thinly sliced
- 1 yellow bell pepper thinly sliced
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 8 slices provolone cheese
- 4 hoagie rolls split lengthwise
Slice chicken breast into thin strips against the grain.
Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in large skillet over medium-high heat.
Season chicken with salt, pepper, and garlic powder; cook 5-6 minutes until no longer pink.
Remove chicken from pan and set aside.
