- 6-8 Christmas tree cakes Little Debbie brand
- 3-4 drops green food coloring optional
Instructions
- Remove cream cheese from refrigerator 30 minutes before starting to allow it to reach room temperature.
- Unwrap Christmas tree cakes and chop 5-6 of them into small pieces, reserving 1-2 for garnish.
- Beat softened cream cheese in a large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed for 1-2 minutes until smooth and fluffy.
- Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract to the cream cheese and beat for one more minute until fully combined.
- Gently fold in the whipped topping using a spatula until no white streaks remain.
- Add green food coloring if desired and fold through until color distributes evenly.
