Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 4-5 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch optional
  • 2 green onions sliced
  • Sesame seeds for garnish optional

Instructions
 

  • Pat chicken thighs dry and season with salt and pepper on both sides
  • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat
  • Cook chicken for 5-6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through
  • Remove chicken from pan and set aside
  • Reduce heat to medium and add minced garlic, cooking for 30 seconds
  • Add honey, soy sauce, and rice vinegar, stirring to combine
  • Mix cornstarch with water if using and add to the sauce
  • Simmer sauce for 1-2 minutes until it begins to thicken
  • Return chicken to pan and coat with sauce
  • Simmer for another 2-3 minutes until sauce is thick and glossy
  • Garnish with sliced green onions before serving
