Ingredients
  

  • 1 can 21 oz lemon pie filling
  • 1 box 15.25 oz yellow cake mix
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened and cubed
  • ½ cup unsalted butter 12 tbsp, cold and cut into small pieces

Instructions
 

Prepare the Baking Dish:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.

Layer the Ingredients:

  • Spread lemon pie filling evenly in the bottom of the baking dish.
  • Sprinkle half of the cake mix over the lemon filling.
  • Scatter cubed cream cheese evenly over the cake mix.
  • Sprinkle the remaining cake mix over the top.
  • Distribute cold butter pieces evenly across the top cake mix layer.

Bake the Cake:

  • Bake at 350°F for 35-40 minutes, until golden brown and bubbling at the edges.
  • Check for doneness by inserting a toothpick into the center—it should have a few moist crumbs.

Cool and Serve:
