  • 15.25 oz yellow or white cake mix
  • 12 tbsp butter divided, melted for mixing with cake mix
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar divided
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg

Instructions
 

Prepare the Peach Base:

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Drain peaches, leaving a small amount of juice for moisture.
  • Spread peaches evenly in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • Drizzle vanilla extract over peaches.
  • Sprinkle 1/4 cup brown sugar and cinnamon over peaches.
  • (Optional) Mix in 1 tbsp cornstarch if the peach mixture seems too watery.

Prepare the Cake Topping:

  • In a bowl, combine cake mix and melted butter, mixing until crumbly.
