Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 pounds large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 5 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped

Instructions
 

  • Dry the shrimp with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Cook shrimp for 2 minutes per side until pink, then remove from pan.
  • Lower heat to medium and melt butter in the same pan.
  • Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes; cook for 1 minute.
  • Stir in chicken broth and lemon juice. Simmer for 1-2 minutes.
  • Return shrimp to the pan and toss in the sauce.
  • Top with lemon zest and parsley before serving.
